We asked some students if they would write a few lines to describe their learning experience with us to the visitors of this website (you!). They’ve made very generous comments! Here is what they wrote:
I have attended the online English course with Elisabetta and India for about 4 months. I attended the lessons with two friends, some lessons with Elisabetta, others with India and some with both of them. All the lessons were very interesting, fun and I learned a lot. The difficulties of remembering things because of age have forced teachers to a great job and at times we wanted to give up, but the teachers were very good at motivating us. India is very professional with an excellent pronunciation, in fact at first I often did not understand her but she always persevered until I understood her words. Elisabetta manages to make me have fun studying; I hope to go to England or America to practise my English and feel more comfortable traveling. They are very patients and amazing teachers.

I really like studying English with India. Her lessons are interesting, funny and original. I also like her intelligence and enthusiasm.She is sensitive and able to feel my difficulties and stimulate my ability. I started my English lessons some years ago with Elisabetta. All went well and I studied and had fun at the same time. Elisabetta is the best teacher anyone could have. Doing Italian classes with Elisabetta was such a fun experience. The classes are action packed and pure fun and the best way to learn. I’ve been studying Italian with Elisabetta for four years now. During this time she has taken me from someone who didn’t like and didn’t know anything about grammar to someone who loves it and can think with it. I never thought that would be possible! Moreover, she taught me in such a clever way, that it was fun and it just came natural over time. I am now confident in getting by when visiting Italy and my written understanding (both reading and writing) has vastly improved. The lessons were so much fun and whenever there was something I didn’t understand Elisabetta made sure I would get it in the end. I went on a study trip to Italy with Elisabetta and had an AMAZING time. It was far more enjoyable than a boring working holiday and had so much fun that I want to go again. I learnt a lot of Italian as everything we did was in Italian. A great way to learn a language is have fun while learning and now I use my Italian at work.

I started to learn Italian with Elisabetta 4 years ago for my personal development and professional advancement and I’m still continuing: I would recommend her class to anyone. Also, the intensive course in Italy is designed and taught in a manner that allows you to immerse yourself in Italy fully and it was an excellent way to learn about the people and Italian day to day life. The work itself is not difficult but you need to have a cream desire for the language as well as the culture. I can now make conversations and cook gnocchi from scratch. I can also watch Disney’s Frozen in Italian and understand most of it!

Fantastic intensive course because you can feel really happy while you are studying and working a lot. We spoke always in English, we met a lot of interesting people and visited wonderful places. A 40 anni più che suonati non avrei mai immaginato di poter superare il mio limite di sempre: un’assoluta, imperdonabile ignoranza della lingua inglese, consolidata da una discreta pigrizia e sfiducia circa le possibilità di recuperare il mio handicap. Ho frequentato il corso per principianti di Elisabetta e mi sono lasciata travolgere dalle sue lezioni di lingua, sempre sorprendenti per le modalità utilizzate (didattica situazionale, per gli addetti ai lavori), entusiasmanti per l’allegria e la passione trasmesse al gruppo di apprendimento, incredibilmente proficue visti i risultati raggiunti. Before we had Elis’ course the conditions of our English were embarrassing. Now they are almost passable! We learnt a lot and we had a lot of experiences. Moreover, the third day we painted some ceramics in a beautiful place in Brighton, and now I have a very usefu piece of jewelery made by myself. It reminds me of my English craftsman’s skills! I suggest you book your intensive course!

The experience that I did with Elisabetta has been a very big help for my English skills. I’m shy and I don’t let myself go, I always have to think and think before speaking in English.
